The short answer is YES! It is possible to treat if not cure panic attacks but you must be willing to actually take action and DO something about it. Hoping for a miracle anxiety cure is not going to help you. You need to be proactive and willing to try just about anything. Think outside the box. Be willing and even excited about seeking help for your panic attacks.

As almost with anything, how and what you eat can greatly affect your mood and therefore your anxiety and stress levels. Choosing the wrong kinds of foods on any given day may increase your chances of having a panic attack. What should you eat, then?

Be sure to stay away from any refined sugar and flour products. Generally, if it comes in a box or a can, you should definitely avoid it. Stay away from snack and junk foods at all costs. Avoid salty foods that raise blood pressure. Some foods may actually cause anxiety attacks in some people. It is best to avoid foods with artificial additives or preservatives as well as chocolate, coffee, eggs, milk and certain wheat products such as bread, pasta and cakes.

Look for fresh and brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Try to eat organic foods as much as possible. This is important because these types of foods contain an excellent source of antioxidants that, besides being essential for prolonged health, also protect your body from anxiety that continuously builds up in your body. You should heavily rely on these foods until you can better manage your anxiety and panic attacks.

Eat more fiber and complex carbohydrates usually found in whole grains, seeds and nuts. Fiber is especially important for a healthy and clean digestive tract. An unhealthy digestive tract could be a primary cause of panic attacks so why not clean it up!
